FOR FAMILIES
Resources & Workshops
Personal Safety can be a tricky subject for parents and kids alike, yet it doesn't need to be. Staying safe is about forming good habits that work for you and your family, and then practicing those habits until they are second nature.
We focus on making conversations about personal safety an every day activity and building a vocabulary unique to your family and your child.
There is no perfect answer to safety concerns, because life doesn't happen by textbook rules. Scary things happen in an instant and there is no insurance against tragedies in life. However, there ARE behaviors we can model, and conversations we can have, and muscles we can all flex to give ourselves and our kids the confidence and self-assurance to act in their own best interest to stay safe.
Example of topics we explore in our workshops and blog:
-
Safe Talk: Creating a Language of personal safety in your family
-
Understanding the Circles of Safety
